Jets Muhammad Wilkerson raises money for high school student athletes

On Monday night New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson hosted “Servin It Up For The Holidays” at the TGIFridays in Linden, New Jersey.  The event, which was put together by Wilkerson’s T.E.A.M. 96 Foundation, helped raise scholarship money which will be awarded to high school student athletes in Rahway, Linden, Elizabeth, and Roselle.

Several of Muhammad’s teammates were on hand including Ed Reed, David Harris, Quinton Coples, Kyle Wilson, Santonio Holmes, Calvin Pace, and Jaiquawn Jarrett with all of them acting as waiters throughout the evening.  A good time was had by all as the players went above and beyond in terms of taking pictures and signing autographs for the fans.

The night concluded with a live auction that was led by a very enthusiastic Quinton Coples.  The Jets linebacker did an excellent job of promoting auction items which included a team signed helmet and football, as well as jerseys signed by Nick Mangold, Geno Smith, Santonio Holmes, David Harris, and of course Wilkerson.
